Foodmedia, the brand of PT Asia Kreasi Mandiri, has a unique and innovative business model compared to other companies operating in online food ordering platforms. Law Firm Prihatwono supports the drafting of agreements, including future plans for food delivery via drones. This will position Foodmedia as the first company in Southeast Asia to operate a drone-based food delivery business.
During the meeting, the Minister of Trade emphasized the importance of Foodmedia complying with applicable regulations on Electronic Commerce (PMSE), as stipulated in Minister of Trade Regulation No. 31 of 2023 concerning business licensing, advertising, development, and supervision of businesses in the electronic realm. He emphasized that platforms like Foodmedia must have a business license in the PMSE sector, not trade prohibited goods—such as alcoholic beverages—display proof of standardization and technical documents (SNI, distribution permit, halal certificate), and provide an easily accessible consumer complaint channel.
The Minister of Trade was also accompanied by the Director General of Domestic Trade, Iqbal Shoffan Shofwan, at the event.
